John Brown Engineering Limited and Mohammed Bin Masaood and Sons formed a joint venture company; Masaood John Brown to cover the after sales market in the lower gulf region.

1996
Kvaerner Energy acquired John Brown Engineering Limited including the manufacturing faculty at Clydebank. Business continued as normal and Kvaerner also acquired the share holding in Masaood John Brown.

2000
GE acquired Kvaerner Energy and closed the manufacturing facility in Clydebank. Mohammed Bin Masaood and Sons retained the Kvaerner shareholding in Masaood John Brown and looked for a new technology partner – Turbine Services Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Chromalloy. Turbine Services opened its Glasgow office which includes Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Engineering supporting Masaood John Brown and a worldwide market.

Turbine Services opened a regional office Australian Turbine Services in Perth, Australia.

Turbine Services opened its Asian regional workshop Turbine Services Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand.
